Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040 (バブルガムクライシス TOKYO 2040 Baburugamu Kuraishisu TOKYO 2040?) is a Japanese anime series produced by Anime International Company (AIC) and funded by ADV Films. A retelling of the 1987 original video animation Bubblegum Crisis, the series premiered on TV Tokyo on October 8, 1998 where it ran for 26 episodes until its conclusion on March 31, 1999. Let's just say I grew up with this anime. This was shown here at our local TV station back during my second year in high school and I fell in love with it on the spot! I used to day dream back then of having dragons of my own and having their names tattooed on my arms, just like Recca's LOL. This series was one of the many stored in my external hard drive and since I was trying to watch something new (or maybe I want to get a move on with all of those series I have) I tried this one, Eden of the East or Higashi no Eden.

Addicted to Bleach

Yes! That's right, I am completely hooked with the anime series, Bleach. I started watching this a year ago but stopped and now am back and I'm catching up. Currently on season 13 also known as the Zanpakutou Rebellion and it's getting more interesting than ever. I cannot seem to stop watching!

Anyways, like any other anime fan I too have developed fascination with several of the characters hahahaha *moe moe* lol.

Favorite Taichou: After careful consideration (Yikes!) I've decided my heart goes to Kuchiki Byakuya. I used to favor Ichimaru Gin with his creepy eyes and evil smile. But after watching the cold aloofness of Byakuya and his Senbonzakura, I've switched sides. Hahahaha LOL and I also adore Hitsugaya Toushirou for being so cute!

Fukotaichou: Now this one's a no brainer lol after watching the episode "Elite: The Four Shinigami" I know I am in love with Hisagi Shuhei. Waaaaaaaaaa Nyahahahaha, sorry this post sounds kinda funny right? LOL This is the side effect of watching too much Bleach episodes, almost 24 by 7.

So there you go, yikes! I have stopped watching One Piece am still on episode 350 and I've stopped watching Naruto Shippuden. I'll go back to watching these series once I'm up to speed with Bleach. Waaaaaaaaaa ...

I have not watched this anime series yet but it is definitely in my "To Watch List". I have downloaded this series because it was one of the many recommendations friends of mine in various anime forums suggested. Let's take a look at the synopsis from Wikipedia:

When high school student Tohru Honda's mother died in a car accident, Tohru begins living in a tent and supporting herself. That is, until she finds a home in the least likely of places, inhabited by her classmate Yuki Sohma and his cousins Shigure and Kyo. The Sohmas however, live with a curse. Thirteen members of the family are possessed by spirits of the Chinese zodiac and turn into their zodiac animal when hugged by the opposite gender, are weak, or when under stress. When Tohru discovers the Sohmas' secret, she promises not to tell and is allowed to keep living with them. The Sohma's curse, however, is deeper and darker than Tohru realized, but her presence soon becomes a large, positive influence on those possessed by the zodiac. Houki Boshi or Comet by Younha

I haven't blogged in a while, yikes! That stinks LOL. Anyways I've been busy with other stuff that are too boring to discuss here but am back and hopefully for good. I have been watching Bleach for the past two weeks and at the moment I am on episode 163, the Arrancar arc and I am loving it. I started watching Bleach about a year ago but stopped somewhere during the first few seasons before they were able to rescue Rukia and now am back. So I have been watching Bleach taking extra interest in the opening and ending themes which changes after a couple of episodes. One of the many songs that caught my attention was "Houki Boshi" by Younha. This was the ending theme on episodes 26 to 38. As I did my search on YouTube, I realized that there is a Korean version of the song and I am having a hard time deciding which version I like better.

Zen by Attack Haus

One of the perks I enjoy from one of my full time jobs is the chance to watch my favorite anime series while working. Imagine watching anime for 8 hours ... imagine how many episodes one could get to finish in a day. Hehehe. I have made quite a lot of progress with my anime collection and I intend to continue doing so. Last week I finished "Otogi Zoshi" and I one of its opening themes got stuck in my playlist. Hana Kimi (Taiwanese)

After watching "Down with Love" and becoming a huge fan of Ella, I decided to watch all the other TV series she is in and found Hana Kimi.

Hanazakarino Kimitachihe (Hua Yang Shao Nian Shao Nu) Taiwan TV Drama with English sub NTSC All

It stars Ella Chen, Wu Chun and Jiro Wang and it's one of those romantic comedy TV series that people like me would definitely like. A friend of mine has been a huge fan of Wu Chun and when I told her that he is indeed good looking, I still prefer Zhou Jie Lun over him. She laughed and said it's a good thing so there won't be any competition between us. LOL HAHAHAHAHAHA. Anyways, Hana Kimi follows the story of Lu Ru Xi who went to all the trouble of going to an ALL BOYS school in Taiwan just so she could be with her idol, Quan who is a high jump athlete. 

It has its hilarious and romantic moments, the opening theme of the drama is "What Should I Do?" by S.H.E. The drama's soundtrack contains songs from Tank and Fahrenheit.

I finished this drama series not too long ago and I have to say it made me crave for more Taiwanese TV series. This drama also made me a fan of Ella Chen and of the band S.H.E., they're just amazing. Thanks to the inventions of subtitles anyone can now watch foreign language series. 

Synopsis:

Xiang Yu Ping (Jerry Yan), an expert divorce and inheritance lawyer, is seen by others as cold, selfish, and ruthless. After Yu-ping’s older brother dies in a car accident he has little choice but take in his brother's two orphaned children, Yu Fei and Yu Ting (The childrens' mother had left them). Every nanny he hires to care for them is either scared off by the mischievous children or ends up falling in love with him. Fed up, Yu Ping asks his secretary, Yang Duo, to find a nanny that meets his requirements. Having lost all their wealth when their mother passed away and being abandoned by their father after racking up heavy debts; Yang Duo can not ignore the fact that she needs the money and recommends her younger sister, Yang Guo (Ella Chen), for the job; assuring Yu Ping that her tomboyish sister will not fall in love with him by lying that she does not like men at all.
