I was watching this movie earlier, you know how crazy I am about romantic comedies and this one sure fits the bill. I am not really a major fan of Amy Adams but I've seen a couple of movies she's in and she sure has a sunny disposition. So going to my favorite online site for watching movies I found this movie on the featured list.
A woman who has an elaborate scheme to propose to her boyfriend on Leap Day, an Irish tradition which occurs every time the date February 29 rolls around, faces a major setback when bad weather threatens to derail her planned trip to Dublin. With the help of an innkeeper, however, her cross-country odyssey just might result in her getting engaged. [via imdb]
So she did get engaged with Jeremy but found out that the engagement came out because it's the only way they could get the apartment they've been wanting for and that made her realize she has got everything she wanted but not everything she needed. So she flew 3,000 miles off to Ireland and found that Declan [Matthew Goode] is now successfully running his inn, she proposed he proposed they got engaged then married and they lived happily ever after .... then the credits started to roll.
Weeeeeee I love sappy happy endings and maybe someday one day I'll have my own happy ending too. A little girl with dark curly hair, chinita dark eyes, and porcelain skin also throw in a white picket fence.
