My Hime: Anime Legends Complete Collection

My-HiME (舞-HiME Mai-HiME?) is an anime series, created by Sunrise. Directed by Masakazu Obara and written by Hiroyuki Yoshino, the series originally premiered in Japan on TV Tokyo from September 2004 to March 2005. The show is a comedy-drama focusing on the lives of HiMEs—girls with the capacity to materialize photons—gathered at Fuka Academy for a secret purpose.

The series is licensed for North American distribution by Bandai Entertainment and European distribution by Bandai's European subsidiary, Beez, with the first American DVD released at the end of March 2006. Bandai released the Complete Collection DVD set in America on October 7, 2008. It is also shown on Anime Selects On Demand but only for a limited time. [from Wikipedia]

Yue Liang Dai Baio Wo De Xin by Teresa Teng

I fell in love with this song after hearing Jerry Yan and Sammi Cheng's rendition of it. The song is one of Teresa Teng's greatest hits and it's entitled "Yue Liang Dai Baio Wo De Xin" which translates to The Moon Represent My Heart in English. It's beautiful and even if you don't understand Mandarin, just listen to the melody and am sure you'd like it.

Summary:

Weiß Kreuz (ヴァイスクロイツ Vaisu Kuroitsu?, literally German for "White Cross", accurately "weißes Kreuz" in German) is an anime about four assassins that work in a flower shop called "The House of Kittens", a reference to their feline codenames. The assassins are members of a group called Weiß (white), which is run by Persia of the mysterious Kritiker organization.

In addition to the two seasons of anime and one OVA series, the Weiß Kreuz franchise also includes a light novel, two manga series, and several drama CDs. Media Blasters released the anime in the North America as Knight Hunters: Weiß Kreuz.

Occult Academy

Occult Academy Complete Anime Series

- Plot - 

The story revolves around Maya, the daughter of the former Headmaster of Waldstein Academy, and a time traveling agent Fumiaki Uchida. In the year 2012, the world had been invaded by aliens and time travelers were sent back to the year 1999 in order to find and destroy the Nostradamus Key, which Nostradamus Prophecy foretold as what would bring about the apocalypse. The series then turns to the year 1999, where Maya returns to the Academy with the intention of destroying the Academy by superseding her late father's position as the principal. Her plan was interrupted when she meets Fumiaki and learns of the forthcoming destruction. Despite being distrusting towards Fumiaki, they form a pact to look for the Nostradamus Key.

In order to find the Nostradamus Key, time agents were provided with specially created cell phones. When a user finds an object of interest, by thinking of destroying it and taking a photo, and if the resulting image is that of a peaceful world, then the subject is the Nostradamus Key. Conversely, if the subject is not the Nostradamus Key, then the photo displays destruction. By using the phone, Maya and Fumiaki investigates occult occurrences as they occur in the town. Wo Bu Pei by Jay Chou

Ever since I discovered and fell hopelessly addicted to the music of Jay Chou I have downloaded every album he has ever released. I've checked the local music shops here in the city and not a single one of them carries any Jay Chou album.

Anyways at the moment I'm overly fascinated with the song "Wo Bu Pei" or I'm Not Worthy from the album "On The Run.

Movie Marathon | Hidden Track [2003]

Hidden Track

I did a post before that I was not able to find a torrent file for this movie. Back then I resorted to Ebay to try and buy a DVD copy of the movie. But not too long ago the torrent file I've downloaded for the movie which did not have any seeds back then finally started have one seeder. It took me a week to finish the download and am so so so happy. Yep! Very happy indeed. I've watched the movie already and I love it most especially the songs in the movie.

Fame [2009]

I was on a movie marathon last night after checking out my external hard drive I found out at that I have an existing copy of the 2009 remake of the movie Fame.

According to the reviews on various web sites the 2009 remake is not as good as the original production in 1980. I watched it just the same and though I have not seen the 1980 version I still kind of like it. The songs were pretty nice. My favorite was Ash Book's rendition of Someone To Watch Over Me. Also he played the piano quite well and the song "Try" was just as moving.
