Walk Away by Joseph Arthur

I heard this song from one of the episodes on Lie To Me and I love it. All I got were a few lines .. So long you went alone; holding to what you'll never know. After googling it I found out the song is titled "Walk Away" by Joseph Arthur. Let's listen to it ... or let's watch the video below.

Believing by The Calling

Camino Palmero Two

I have always been a fan of Alex Band and The Calling since the release of their first album Camino Palmero. I have bought both their albums and on the second one, there's this song called "Believing" that is stuck on my head. The melody and lyrics is just so strong plus Alex Band's voice is so mesmerizing it ... lets try to listen to it.

21 Guns by Green Day

21st Century Breakdown
21st Century Breakdown

Yipppeee!!! I just got my CD of Green Day's latest album, 21st Century Breakdown. I was enticed to buy the album because of the hit song, 21 Guns and I have no regrets. The album is packed with great songs as can be expected from the band. I have been a fan of Green Day since they released "Dookie" and should they release a DVD Compilation like that of The Beatles then I will definitely buy one. Anyways lets watch 21 Guns, now shall we?

If You'd Only Love Me by 911

911 - Greatest Hits and a Little Bit More

911 - Greatest Hits and a Little Bit More

Lovely was rather surprised when she saw my mp3 files and saw 911's album, reminiscent of our elementary and high school days. I seem to have garnered the impression of listening to rock, punk and what old folks would call noise and she seems to share the same impression. So she was surprised to find this song ... If You'd Only Love Me by 911 which is by the way part of their Greatest  Hits and a Little Bit More album.

Soothing Songs

Every one of us has our own taste in music some like pop, some likes hip hop while others go rock. I lean more towards alternative rock and punk though I don't deny listening to pop every now and then and to be honest I got this playlist on my iTunes that I play every time I need to unwind or plainly when I want to fall asleep. Lets take a look at the list ..

1. Yu Jian by Stephanie Sun
2. Here We Are by F4
3. Kazega Soyogu Basho by Komatsu Miho
4. Zutto Kimi No Soba De by Matsuda Yuuki
5. Kaze No Uta [Hope and Tears of Ireland] by Toshihiko Sahashi
6. Watashitachi Ni Naritakute by Fujitani Miwako
7. Namida wa Shitteiru by Suzukaze Mayo
8. Sukiyaki by Kyu Sakamoto
9. Yakusoku wa Iranai by Maaya Sakamoto

Bubbles

A friend of mine mentioned to me once that I ought to get out of my comfort zone every so often and that if it was up to her, she would do whatever it takes to burst me out of own bubble. lol. My comfort zone being my music, even when we are together the moment we ride the jeep to go somewhere am gonna go back and put that earphones back and tune her out basically. Not good huh? It's a habit and I gotta tell it's hard to break, it's like asking a chain smoker to quit smoking promptu, impossible right?

Now speaking of bubbles, I think I have managed to misplace my iPod Touch again .... I cannot seem to find it anywhere in my room. The last time I misplaced it took me about 4 days to find it.

Guess where it was at that time ... my freaking laundry basket!!!!

How it winded up there?? I have no idea.

What I Didn't Know by Athenaeum

I heard this when my former team lead had this song playing on his station and I liked instantly. I asked him what the title of the song is and I made it a task to look for it. Found this live performance on youtube and it's cool.

I complain
When nothing's even wrong
And you're ashamed
Cause you're not quite that strong

That's when I said I'll need
More than you can offer me
I miss your face as you can tell
I hope my absence makes you well

Cause what I didn't know
Is I was killing you
I said a lot of things that I didn't mean to
But I am older now
And I am sorry too
So I can wait awhile
If it brings me back to you

I am shy
I never speak a word
And you are numb
From all the things you never heard

That's when I said I'll need
More than you can offer me
But now I own an empty space
And I can't fill it with your face

Cause what I didn't know
Is I was killing you
I said a lot of things that I didn't mean to
But I am older now
And I believe in you
So I can wait awhile
If it brings me back to you

Emily the Strange: Stranger And Stranger

Emily the Strange: Stranger and Stranger
Emily the Strange: Stranger and Stranger
I saw the price of this book on Amazon and my mouth dropped! Lol ... Emily the Strange books are just hard to find from where I am and to catch a few of them on the shelves at our local bookstores is just short of a miracle. But seriously it's availability is just so nil, I am hoping for someone or a way to get my hands on this copy. Seems like the only way to go is getting this via online purchase and I have been going through Amazon's FAQ's for International buyers and see how this goes. Am thinking of doing a one time big haul to save on shipping obviously ... so am thinking of probably another two to three weeks or so to finalize my book shopping list.

So Little Time by Arkarna

I was probably 11 when I first saw this music video on MTV and I fell in love with it. Ollie Jacobs rocking on the microphone is enough to make me drool lol. Hahahaha this was way better than the other pop songs constantly busting out of every music station at that time. This influenced my choice of music later on plus my listening to Soul Asylum prior to that, I am already on a roll. So let's revisit my childhood music influence and watch Ollie Jacobs rock ... ohhh he still rock my nickers :)

(ohhhh)       (ohhhh)
Took a while to drag me out of bed,
Aim some coffee at my head,
Saw the clock I'm running late,
It's an ordinary day.
And I'm like a dog on heat,
Knock one out and then fall asleep,
It's sad but true,
I'd rather be with you

Don't you forget about me,
When you're a celebrity,
It will be only you and me
Before too long.

So little time so much to do,
I rather spend my days with you,
So little time so much to do,
I'd like to spend one day with you,
And if that day is not enough,
Maybe we can stay in touch,
But i'm not making plans for tomorrow,
For tomorrow never comes.

Said I've been celibate for years,
Not out of choice theres no-one here,
See I can't give my end away,
Another ordinary day,
And I've love to see a little more of you,
You're clothes would look better on my bedroom floor,
bedroom floor,bedroom floor.

Don't you forget about me,
When you're a celebrity
I know you're busy,
But we all need somebody - before too long

So little time so much to do,
I'd rather spend my days with you,
So little time so much to do,
I'd like to spend one day with you,
And if that day is not enough,
Maybe we can stay in touch,
But i'm not making plans for tomorrow,
For tomorrow never comes.

Never comes
never comes
for tomorrow
never comes

Drift Away by Uncle Kracker

Not really a huge fan of him but I heard this song playing in one of the episodes of Numb3rs and it got stuck in my head. Knowing how I cannot sleep tight without figuring out what the song was I had to google ... and there it goes; Uncle Kracker's Drift Away. Lets listen to it ... shall we?

Sweet Relationship

Sweet Relation Ship Taiwan Tv Drama with English Subtitle All Region NTSC
Sweet Relation Ship Taiwan Tv Drama with English Subtitle All Region NTSC
In Meteor Garden several might have fallen for Daoming Si played by Jerry Yan while I on the other hand had fallen head over heels with Huaze Lei's character played by Vic Chou. I never thought I'd be this interested in Taiwanese dramas but this all started when I went back to Mandarin school. This is the next tv series I am planning to watch while waiting for Supernatural Season 6 to start.

I got my DVD set when I went to Singapore during my last trip and I love it ... I haven't started watching it yet but it's next on my list. I still haven't gotten around to doing all the things on my list, once I got this sorted out I'll get right on to it.

Anime Addict | Yakitate Japan!

A friend of mine who is also an otaku recommended this anime to me and though am prolly centuries behind [lol] but I found this series hilarious and the breads are just outrageously yummy looking and out of this world. Hehehe, plus the lead character, Azuma Kazuma is rather simple minded that it made his character endearing and cute. The other characters are well created as well both in design and personality giving the well needed balance in every program. All in all, I love it and I cannot wait to get my hands on the entire volume of the manga ... to add to my collection.
